This guide is named after Smeagull the Seagull, a real, wild herring gull who makes his living in and around the Stewart B.  McKinney National Wildlife Refuge, an important coastal and offshore wildlife habitat located on the Connecticut side of Long Island Sound.  The guide tells you about the wildlife you are most likely to see.

Smeagull the Seagull is the Official Mascot of the Friends of the Refuge.
